Oallet incorporates multiple security layers to ensure that user assets remain protected from unauthorized access. In addition to server-side protection and encrypted wallet infrastructure, Oallet includes device-level security controls that provide an additional layer of protection for wallet access.

Device-Based Biometric Protection

Oallet supports device-based biometric authentication, allowing the wallet to be securely accessed only from the verified device of the account holder. When biometric protection is enabled, the wallet access is bound to the user's device authentication system.

This mechanism ensures that even if account credentials are compromised, access to the wallet still requires verification through the authorized device.

Users can choose from several authentication methods supported by their device:

  • Fingerprint Authentication

  • Face ID / Facial Recognition

  • Device PIN

  • Device Password

These authentication methods rely on the device’s secure hardware environment, ensuring that biometric data never leaves the user’s device and is not stored on Omega Network servers.

Device Binding for Wallet Access

To further strengthen wallet security, Oallet implements device binding mechanisms that associate wallet access with the verified user device. This prevents unauthorized attempts to access the wallet from unknown or untrusted environments.

If a login attempt is detected from a new device, additional verification procedures may be required before wallet functionality becomes available.

Multi-Layer Protection

By combining encrypted wallet infrastructure with device-level authentication, Oallet provides a multi-layer security framework designed to protect user-held Omega tokens and other digital assets within the Omega ecosystem.
